PDF cropping is the process of removing unwanted margins, whitespace, or borders from the edges of PDF pages. By setting crop dimensions (measured in points, where 1 point = 1/72 of an inch), you define the visible area of each page, effectively trimming excess space while preserving all content within the crop area.
Upload your PDF and specify crop margins in points for each side: top, right, bottom, and left. A value of 0 means no cropping on that side. The tool applies these margins uniformly to every page, adjusting the visible area without compressing or distorting the remaining content. You can then download the cropped PDF instantly.

A point (pt) is a unit of measurement in typography and PDF documents. 1 point = 1/72 of an inch. So 72 points = 1 inch, 36 points = 0.5 inches, and 12 points ≈ 0.17 inches. Use this conversion to set accurate margins.
Slightly. Cropping removes the data for margins and borders, which may reduce file size by a small amount, but the main benefit is a cleaner document, not smaller files. The reduction depends on how much whitespace is removed.
This tool crops uniformly across all pages with the same margin values. If you need page-specific cropping, you'll need a full PDF editor or use this tool on pre-split files, then recombine them.
The tool applies the same margins to all pages regardless of size. If pages differ significantly, some may be cropped more aggressively than others. Inspect the result carefully and consider normalizing page sizes first if critical.
Not directly. If your PDF is encrypted, you'll need to unlock it first using an unlock tool, then crop the unencrypted version.
The original file is unchanged; simply reprocess the original PDF with different margin values. Alternatively, use your browser's undo or reupload the file if needed.
