What is the Surface Area Calculator?

Surface area is the total area of all the faces or surfaces of a three-dimensional object, measured in square units. For example, a cube with side 5 has a surface area of 150 square units. Each 3D shape has its own formula. Unlike 2D area, surface area accounts for every face of the solid.
